On the occasion of the Independence Day, here is how to make a healthy tricolor sandwich for kids as well as elder. It is loved by all. It’s very easy, quick as well as healthy recipe which can be prepared within 10 mins. It is also referred to as tiranga club sandwich.

Tiranga sandwich contains three colored layers same as our national flag (tiranga) i.e. saffron, white and green.

Servings: 1

Tiranga Sandwich Ingredients:
Bread slice – 4
Butter –1 tbsp. (applying on the 4th slice of the bread)

For saffron layer:
Grated carrot – 1 medium sized
Butter – 1 tbsp. (to add into carrot mixture)
Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp. (to add into carrot mixture)

For White layer:
Boiled and mashed Potato – 1
Grated cheese – 1 small cube
Black pepper – 1 tsp. (to sprinkle)

For Green layer:
Green chutney – 2 tbsp.
Cucumber – 6 slices
