Sesame seeds is beneficial for you’re the health. You can prepare this tal sani (Til Kachariyu) in a few minutes with the help of mixture jar. ‘Kachariyu’ means to grind. In the earlier time when new sesame seeds arrived at winter season, people used to make kachariyu at the oil mil where sesame seeds used to be grinded by the help of oxen and oil sprouts from that. That was the traditional method but now a days we prepare it with mixture grinder jar. You will empty your baskets of praises by making this delicious seasonal sweet. Servings : 2 to 4 persons

Storage Instructions:
Til kachariyu recipe can be stored normally up to 2 weeks in winter season.
You may skip Gond (edible gum) if it isn’t available.
You can add more dry fruits if you are making it for children as it will be more nutritious.
Knead kachariyu for at least 4 to 5 minutes.
You may add piprimul (ganthoda) powder if you like the taste of it.

Ingredients:

Ghee – 2 tbsp. (for frying gond)
White unroasted sesame seeds (Til) ((bina sike hue, kachha) – 1 cup or 125 grams
Sesame seeds oil (til ka tel) – 1/4 cup
Edible gum (Gond/gondh) optional – 1/4 cup
Jaggery (gud) – 1/4 cup
Soft & seedless dates – 1/4 cup or 15 pieces
Dry ginger powder (saunth) -1 tbsp.
Grated dry coconut – 1/4 cup
Finely chopped cashews – 2 tsp. for grinding
Finely chopped almond – 2 tsp. for grinding

For garnishing: –

Finely chopped cashews – 1 tsp.
Finely chopped almond –, 1 tsp.
Sesame seeds oil (Til ka tel) –
Watermelon seeds – 1 tsp. for garnishing
Poppy seeds (khus khus, optional) – 1 tsp. for garnishing
Tutti-frutti – 2 tsp.
