Panchamrut Recipe Details:

Here I am back with holy, easy and quick temple Prasad recipe. Panchamrit or panchamrut is a prasad which is offered to the god and the goddess in various religious occasions in Hindu culture. ‘Panch’ is five in Sanskrit and ‘amrut’ is nectar.

These five nectars are milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar. According to the Hindu mythology, panchamrut is generally used to the bathing of the idols during puja. At some places in India, it is known as charnamrut also. At the end of the puja, a little bit of panchamrit is offered to all the devotees who attended the puja.

Panchamrit is filled with all the nutrition required to our body. Ayurveda mentions how it works for the human body. Panchamrit has health benefits like boosting our immunity power.

It has great significance in festivals like Diwali, Janmashtami, Navratri, Holi, and Ganesh Chaturthi. It is a quick and easy dessert prepared by us during the festival days. You can prepare this Prasad recipe within a few minutes at home. Anybody can try this because it has readily available ingredients. Servings: for Prasad

Preparation & cooking time – 5 minutes

Ingredients:
Milk – 1/2 cup
Curd – 1/3 cup
Ghee – 1 tbsp.
Sugar – 2 tbsp.
Honey -1 tbsp.
Tulsi leaves – 1 or 2

vital Tips:

Use boiled and cold milk.

You can adjust the measurement of honey and sugar according to your taste.

I used cow ghee for preparing the Panchamrit.

Keep it in the fridge for at least half an hour after preparing the panchamrit.
