Namak pare recipe video shows how to make Gujarati style spicy and crunchy namak para more deliciously. Namak para is also known as khasta nimki. It is a crunchy and spicy deep-fried diamond cut made from all-purpose flour dough. It is the most popular Indian Diwali snack as well as a tea-time snacks. It is an excellent recipe for a kid’s lunch box recipe as well. Namak para is a long-lasting, notorious snack for most of the people. Kids also love this. It is my all-time favorite spicy snack and is enjoyed with a cup of tea.

Namak para has many varieties and it is made with different styles in different places. Today I made it with dry fenugreek leaves, black pepper, carom seeds, and cumin seeds. It turns out crispy from the outer layer and soft from inside. The taste of all spices makes it more delicious as well as healthy. It has its own place in tea time or evening snack recipe menu.
You would empty your baskets of praises by making this delicious farsan/nasta. You can prepare this crispy namak para within a few minutes at home. Think of a simple yet delicious dish, and tikha para would be first in the list of all snack recipes. Servings: For family

Preparation & cooking time – 15 to 20 minutes

Ingredients:-

All-purpose flour – 2 cups
Oil – 3 tbsp.
Dry Fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) – 1 tbsp.
Black pepper – 1 tsp.
Carom seeds – 1/2 tsp.
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.
Salt to taste or 1 tsp.
Water – 1/3 cup
Oil – for frying

Vital Tips:-

When you add namak para in frying oil, keep slow/low flame so that you will not burn. After adding namak para to the oil, turn your flame on medium mode.

Let namak pare fry from all the sides, keep stirring them.

Add water in bathes. I used 1/3 cup of water. Dough should be tight.
If you want to store this namak pare, you can store it for 2 to 3 weeks in an airtight and clean container.

Use fresh flour for better results.
