Mango seed/keri ni gotli no mukhwas Recipe Details:
Who doesn’t like mangoes? Mango is everyone’s favorite and it has many health benefits too. Even mango seeds have some unknown hidden benefits. We usually throw it out in the garbage. Do you know even seeds have lots of ayurvedic benefits? It fights with acidity and helps the digestion system. It also helps in maintaining metabolism, reduces cholesterol levels and obesity, helps in diabetes, and solves dandruff problems as well as dry lips problem. A person who has a deficiency of vitamin B12 should eat this mukhwas.

After finishing lunch or dinner we usually eat something like a mouth freshener to digest our meal like pan, mukhwas. Here I have shown Mango Seeds Mukwas which is a very nutritious and healthy recipe for us. Anybody can make this easily with handy ingredients.

Servings: for family

Preparation & cooking time:

5 minutes for boiling mango seeds
15 to 20 minutes for the roasting process

Mango seeds (आम की गुठलीया) – 30 pieces
Water – 2 glasses for boiling
Salt – 1 tsp.
Ghee – 1 tbsp.
Butter – 1 tbsp.
Black salt – 1 tsp.
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
Raw mango powder (आमचूर पाउडर)

Storage Instructions:

· Mango seeds mouth freshener mukhwas can be stored up to 2 to 3 months in an airtight container.

· Container should be completely dry and clean.

Vital Tips:

· You can add or omit black pepper and raw mango powder.

· Use Alphonso mango seeds or kesar mango seeds for better results. I used kesar mango seeds.

· Mango seeds (aam ki guthliya) should be dried under the sunlight for at least a week.

Boiled and chopped seeds should be kept under sunlight or fan for 12 hours for better results.
