Storage Instructions:
• This red chili pickle can be stored up to 1 month in the refrigerator
• You should keep the achar in a normal room temperature for the first 24 hours.
• Properly close the lid of the container and place it in the fridge after the first 24 hours.
• Always use sterilized and totally dry container to store any pickle, it will enhance the life of pickle.
• Pour all leftover spice and oil over the chilies.
• The chilies will become tender after 2 to 3 days.

Ingredients:

 Red chilies – 250 grams (Washed & dried)
 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp.
 Lemon juice – 5 to 6 big sized lemons or you may use vinegar(1 tbsp.) for enhancing the shelf life of the pickle
 Mustard seeds coarsely grinded (Rai na kuriya in Gujarati) – 3 tbsp. outer layer
 Fenugreek seeds coarsely grinded (Methi na kuriya in Gujarati) -2 tbsp. inner layer
 Fennel seeds – 2 tbsp.
 Carom seeds – 1 tbsp.
 Black Pepper – 1 tbsp.
 Salt – 3 tbsp.
 Asafoetida – ½ Tsp.
 Any cooking Oil – 1 cup (I used peanut oil)

Red Chili Recipe Details (lal mirch achar banana ki vidhi, lal mirch achar banana kaa tarika):

– Wash chili properly and let them dry. Chili must be completely dry before you are prepare the pickle.
– You may coarsely grind masala like fennel seeds, black pepper, and carom seeds.
