Servings: 2 to 3 persons
Preparation & cooking time – 20 minutes

Ingredients:
Finely chopped French beans/green beans – 1 cup.
Chopped potato – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped tomato – 1 medium-sized
Red Chili powder – 2 tsp.
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
Cumin coriander powder – 1 tsp.
Grated ginger – 1-inch piece
Garlic cloves – 7 to 10 (optional)
Onion – 1 medium-sized
Asafoetida – a pinch
Sugar – 1/2 tsp. (optional)
Oil – 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste or 1 tsp.
Raw mango powder (Amchur powder) – 1 tsp.
Water if required I added 1 tbsp.

Vital Tips:

Add extra water in sabji only If required. French beans themselves have water in them so they will leave their water. Before adding vegetables, wash and dry (rinse) it properly.

If you do not eat onion or garlic, you can avoid adding them. Believe me, sabji tastes great even without onion and garlic.

Use fresh vegetables for better result.

Only two whistles on medium flame are sufficient to cook the french beans sabji. Do not cut potatoes in big slices so that they will cook properly.
