Cornflakes chivda/Makai chivda is one of the quickest and tasty chivda of all other chivdas. It is also called મકાઈનો ચેવડો in Gujarati or corn flakes namkeen. We can serve this chivda as a dry snack on Diwali and also give this chivda in kids’ lunch box.
Ingredients:
Makai poha/corn flakes – 1 cup
Peanuts – 2 tbsps.
Kaju chopped – 2 tbsps.
Some fresh Curry leaves
Oil – for frying
Raisins – 2 tbsps.
For masala mix:
Sugar powder – 1 tbsp.
Raw mango (amchur) powder – 1 tsp.
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp.
Red chili powder – ½ tsp.
Salt – 1 tsp.
