Coconut Chutney Recipe (How to make coconut chutney at home):
Coconut chutney recipe video shows a quick and easy white coconut chutney recipe with tempering or without tempering. Coconut chutney is a perfect blend of dip which makes a great accompaniment for any south Indian recipes such as idly, sada dosa, Maysore masala dosa, rava dosa, cheese dosa, mendu vada, upma, uttapam, appe and many more. It has such a delicious flavor that can enhance the taste of any south Indian meal.
South Indian Coconut Chutney Recipe Ingredients:
Coconut powder (Nariyal powder) – ½ cup
Peanuts – 2 tbsps.
Roasted split gram – 2 tbsps.
Green chili – 2
Ginger – 2 pieces of 1 inch
Salt to taste
Water – 1/3 cup
Oil – 1 Tsp.
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.
Some fresh Curry leaves
Dry red chili – 2
Asafoetida – a pinch
