And the vital part is to prepare sweet Prasad for the deity. Suji besan laddu is really mouth melted, tasty, and easy to make in 15 minutes. This ladoo can be made with easily available ingredients at home. The secret of the perfect danedar suji besan laddu is in the proportion of the ingredients. Besan laddu is my all-time favorite laddu. Let’s sweeten our taste buds with this simple suji besan ladoo.

You can prepare this during Ganesh Chaturthi at home as deliciously as temple prasadam. Ganesh Chaturthi is a very popular ritual in most of the states of India. This festival is incomplete without offering special modak/ladoo prasad to the lord. This ladoo prasad is made with different styles in different places. In Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra people prepare this recipe in their own way. In Gujarat, this laddu is also famous as Swaminarayan ladudi as it is made at Swaminarayan temple and serves as Swaminarayan Prasad. It has its own vital place in puja.
A wonderful dessert that can be prepared in a few minutes without taking anybody’s help at home. You would empty your baskets of praises by making this delicious sweet dish. Preparation & cooking time – 15 minutes
Ingredients:

Semolina/ suji/ rava – 1/2 cup
Chickpea flour / gram flour or besan – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1/3 cup or 6 tbsp.
Sugar powder – 1/2 cup or (1/3 cup if you like less sweetness)
Dry fruits – 15 ( cashews)
Cardamom – 2 piece (optional)

Vital Tips:
Always use coarsely grinded gram flour for the best results.

Roast suji and besan on the lowest flame and stir it continuously otherwise it will burn.

After roasting the suji- besan flour, let it cool completely and then add sugar powder in it. Otherwise, sugar will melt totally.

Do not add too much ghee otherwise, you will face difficulties in bindding it in laddu shape.

Besan-suji ladoo can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
