साबूदाना के कलरफुल पापड़ अब घर पे बनाना बहुत ही आसान। वो भी बिना मशीन बिना आर्टिफीसियल फ़ूड कलर के। घर में पड़े सामान से ही कलरफूल पापड़ बनाये । आधा किलो पापड़ बनाने के लिए कोई एक बर्तन में साबूदाना भर के उसी बर्तन के नाप का दो गुना पानी साबूदाना को पूरी रातभर भिगोने के लिए लेना है। और वही बर्तन से चार गुना पानी लेकर उसको उबलने के लिए लेना है।

You will empty your baskets of praises by making this delicious summer colorful sago papad recipe. Think of a quick to make yet delicious papad and beetroot pudina sago papad will be the first in the list of all papad recipes.

Ingredients:

For white papad:
Small sago/sabudana – 500 grams/half kg
Water – 4 bowls for boiling (वही बर्तन लेना है जिसमे साबूदाना का नाप लिया हो)
Salt to taste or 1tbsp I used rock salt (सेंधा नमक)
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp.
Lemon – 1

For green color papad:
Green chili – 7 to 8 or as per your taste
Mint leaves -1/3 cup
Curry leaves – 1/3 cup
Ginger – 1 piece

For Red papad:
Beetroot boiled & crushed – 4 pieces of 1 inch

Servings: 100 papad

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Soaking time: 12 hours or overnight

Storage Instructions:

Red, green, white Papad can be stored up to a year in an airtight container.
Papad must be totally dry when you put it in a container.

Always use sterilized and totally dry containers to store any summer wafers, it will enhance the life of the Papad.

If you are living in an area where sunlight does not come, you can still make this papad. To dry papad you can use a hairdryer.

Vital Tips:

You should create a single and thin layer of Papad so that it will dry soon.
You can use a clean steel plate or smooth surface plastic bag to spread the liquid mixture of Papad.
Turn the side of the Papad after 12 hours so that it will dry from both sides.
Keep Papad under sunlight for 8 to 10 hours minimum. At night take Papad under the running fan.
Use fresh mint & curry leaves for better results.
If you want a darker red color, you can add more beetroot in it.
